I had the pleasure to review some great products from Parnevu. The Three products I got to try was :

The PARNEVU Salon Shampoo, a pH-balanced and specially formulated cleanser for your hair and scalp that rids the hair of oil buildup without stripping. A unique formula that uses gentle cleansing agents derived from coconut oils and palm nuts to effectively remove grease from the hair and scalp. Natural moisturizers penetrate the hair to replace and lock in vital moisture lost due to chemical damage and everyday styling, leaving hair soft and manageable. I have to say this was my favorite of the three. I got really excellent results using the PARNEVU Salon Shampoo. The scent was intoxicating and really left hair soft, manageable and smooth.

PARNEVU After-Shampoo Conditioner is a unique blend of 14 conditioning agents that absorbs quickly into your hair to restore moisture, and to improve body, strength, and manageability.

The vitamin enriched formula penetrates the cuticle and absorbs deep into the hair's cortex to repair damage. Rich emollients provide moisture to the hair shaft and protects against heat-based styling damage.
I think this product gave me the most moisture. I did not have a flyaway and I felt this product locked in the scent in my hair where I could smell it. I do enjoy when a conditioner can provide you with a scent that last longer than the shower.

My last product I got to try was PARNEVU Shining Gel. This product adds that extra control to help hard-to- hold styles in place while leaving your hair beautifully shiny. Unique formula gives long lasting style and gloss combined with moisturizers and conditioners that leave the hair manageable, full of body and extra sheen without flaking. PARNEVU Shining Gel assures greater control, deeper penetration, and the style you dare to create.
I really don't know how to describe it any better than what the website has for this gem. Its long lasting and I noticed that it is a very hard working product that stays on your hair till you wash it. That is a product that goes the distance and if you are having issues because of the fall weather, I will say you will NOT have flyaways using this Shining Gel.

My final verdict on PARNEVU products. They do what they say. If you have the extra dry hair this product is for you. I think someone who has thick hair that gets frizzy, or have flyaways to the extreme...this is for you. If you are someone who needs moisture because of the fall season and need a good deep cleaning, I totally recommend that PARNEVU Salon Shampoo. For a full experience don't forget the Conditioner. They are a really fair and reasonable price for all the products! I really enjoyed getting to try the products out and think its worth a try.

What's for Lunch?

I often try new recipes and want to just get out of a rut and try something new. Lunch is usually my best time to play with foods because the kids are at school, hubby is at work. I still do have my newest little one, Meadow, but I consider her my "cooking show" audience!
I was really in the mood with carrots this morning. I just love the filling sweetness, did I mention no fat and low calories.

This veggie deserves to be a star of a dish and embellished. I started by cutting the ends and washing the extra dirt. It really brought out the orange. Put them in a baking dish lined with aluminum foil. I did this for the fact of cooking is something I love, dishes are not! Sprayed the foil with Pam for a no stick insurance. Generously coated with EVOO and salt and peppered. Then covered with another sheet of aluminum foil. Popped into a preheated oven of 400F.

This took about 30-40 minutes. I wanted them cooked through but still firm. After taking them out I put on a cutting board and cut them in half and took a rolling pin and semi flattened them.

Made an assembly line of egg wash and Kraft Fresh Take Chili Lime & Panko Mix, Coat, Bake. I took each carrot and ran them through my assembly of goodness. After dressing the carrots in their panko goodness I put them in a medium high heat pan with EVOO once again in the pan. Let them cook on each side about 4-7 minutes. Depends on the stove. I put on a plate after cooking on each side, salted just a bit and put the cheese from the Kraft Fresh Take on top. Oh My Goodness it is so good! I ate this for lunch alone but I think for a side item this would be such a pleaser for the kiddos. I am adding this to my Thanksgiving menu. Yes it has that quality to it. Also there are so many ways you could go with this recipe. I'm thinking other veggies such as cauliflower or broccoli. Maybe my next blog post, right!

Influenster Has A New Look!

Sound the alarm! Influenster.com has a new look. I was really impressed! The new look is cleaner, user friendly, and I found that now I actually understand Influenster more now than ever. I've been a member since November of last year. When I first joined, I will be honest I was referred by a friend to join and when I did I had no idea quite what it was, what to do, or what was expected. Even when asking my friend, she told me she had a hard time always understanding it but that they sent you boxes, known as a Voxbox and you do tasks that qualifies you for badges that helped you get the next box. Finally after a few months I got my first invite for my first Voxbox and I was hooked to the site.
The new site has a fresh new look. I took a few hours to go through it and envelope myself in every nook and crannie.

I think my favorite part of the site is my profile page. It is now so organized and clear. I think clear is the best word to describe it. Everything has its new little homes and I can tell where everything is without scratching my head. I like that they kept it bright and used color to make the important things pop, like the badges.
The home page is very inviting. Its great to see other members feedback on the first page. Gives me hope to see one of my reviews on there (fingers crossed). The top panel for anyone is open and lets you get to exactly what you need to, to be a member or just see the happenings.

Lastly one other part of this wonderful site I felt was noteworthy was the badges page. Once again, so user friendly. I think my 11 year old daughter could navigate without a question. (May have to put that to the test when she gets home from school) I love being able to see what the other members are up to and interested in what badges they are earning. I feel a lot more connected to the other members. I would love to see in the future a chat room for members to get to know some of these treasured souls. I like the way you can see what badges are possible, what you have, and the different levels of a badge.

Influenster.com never ceases to amaze me and now with the site revamp I am more enthusiastic than ever to really dig deep, participate and earn them badges!
